Woke up super motivated, headed off to the only to find a pleasant surprise at the gym, new treadmills. Nice............
A few months ago I was told I had a blockage in my right leg, I kind of sensed it before they even told me.
They said stent, I said no way.
Well today was the first time I was able to max out the incline and walk at a 4.0, pretty good for an old man that is a doctor's worse patient, not buying into a system of medicine where money trumps common sense. No stents and no statins.
Day two is looking good. The nitrate free bacon from Trader Joe's with free range chicken eggs, one apricot, and two of those little funky looking satellite peaches slid down just as nice.
Lunch today will probably be enjoyed alone, Deb really won't indulge in the calves liver, onions, and maybe a stir fried organic veggie.
As of lately I've been lightly frying in coconut oil. To date. I like the change.
Tonight dinner will be all natural, grass feed, sausages from the farm in Rollinsford. I'm psyched.
A little note to those who like to dehydrate: dried beets make your pee and poop purple. I was kind of tempted not to flush at the gym just so the appearance would create interesting conversation.
